Metropolitan Funding Group, Team Equity L.A. Property, Inc., and the Spanish-language resource, WeTalkEspanol.com. While Butch excels in real estate, his advocacy work has amplified his impact. Caring for his mother through the stages of dementia inspired him to create the nonprofit Whosgonnatakecareofme.org, focusing on Alzheimer’s outreach and education. One of its flagship programs, Elves for Alzheimer’s, has distributed over 40,000 daily essentials to underserved Alzheimer’s patients in South Los Angeles and Inglewood.
Butch also founded the Gloria Grimes Resource Community Center and serves as editor of the Alzheimer’s Digest newspaper, both of which provide resources and support to families and caregivers. His efforts earned him the title of “Heroes of the Week” from KNX/CBS News and continue to make a lasting difference in the lives of many.

Butch’s leadership extends far beyond his professional roles. He has served as State President of the California Association of Real Estate Brokers (CAREB) and as a two-term President of the Consolidated Realty Board. He has testified before the California Legislature on issues such as mortgage insurance and unfair lending practices, becoming a trusted advisor to policymakers and multinational companies.
His weekly radio show, “We Talk Real Estate with Butch Grimes”, and his columns as “The Real Estate Insider” have cemented his reputation as a thought leader.
